I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Statistics & Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University, working with Professor Kathryn Roeder and Professor Jing Lei.

I obtained my Ph.D. degree from Department of Statistics at University of California, Irvine in 2024, advised by Professor Annie Qu. Before that, I got Master degree from University of Illinois Urbana Champaign in 2019, and Bachelor degree from Tongji University in 2018.

My research interests include:

  • Data integration
    • Problem: multi-task learning, block-missing data, multi-resolution data, semi-supervised data, noisy label
    • Methodology: semiparametric inference, representation learning, latent factor model
    • Application: genomics, mobile health
  • Causal inference
    • Problem: individual treatment rule, synthetic data, mediation analysis
    • Methodology: statistical learning, deep learning, optimal transport
    • Application: precision medicine
  • Data privacy
    • Problem: dependent data
    • Methodology: latent factor model, distribution-dependent mechanism
  • Interdisciplinary studies:
    • gene regulatory network
    • pregnant women sleep and stress
